Dr. Rashmi Tiwari, COO, CEO Clubs India

Before joining CEO Club India, Rashmi Tiwari was Associate Director of American Chamber of Commerce in India (AMCHAM India), an exclusive association of American companies operating in India, with total investment exceeding US $ 18 billion. The members are the CEOs of these American companies. Since assuming her role, she has provided the organisation with new direction and raised its profile with members as well as the Inidan and U.S. Government authorities.

Dr. Tiwari has worked with Associated Chambers of Commerce & Industry (ASSOCHAM), where she has been in charge of Tourism & Aviation and International Trade divisions.

She has also taught in Indraprastha Collge, Delhi University and worked with National Institute of Public Finance & Policy on a World Bank project on State Finances.

In May 2007, she was selected as one of the emerging women business leaders for the Fortune/State Department Leadership Mentorship Program. The program provided participants with unique opportunities to develop their management and business skills while gaining experience in the U.S. business environment. Her mentor for the program was Ms. Anne Mulcahy, Chairman & CEO, Xerox Corporation.

She was also invited to attend Fortune Most Powerful Women Summit in California as a speaker in the mentorship session.

Dr. Tiwari has done Masters and PhD in Economics from Banaras Hindu University.

She very strongly believes in giving back to the society and is involved in various activities for uplifting the status of women and education of girl child.
