Mrs. Suchitra K. Ella, President, CEO Clubs India - Hyderabad Chapter

Suchitra K. Ella is the Co-Founder & Jt. Managing Director of Bharat Biotech International Limited, one of India's most prominent biotechnology company.

A graduate in Economics from the University of Madras, she pursued her academic interests in the US at Wisconsin and South Carolina in the areas of Business and Marketing. She also started her career alongside specializing in Business Development & Marketing Operations, putting in more than a decade of professional service in US Corporations. A PG Diploma in Patent Law from Nalsar, Hyderabad followed.

As Jt. Managing Director at Bharat, she has been involved in all the stages of project implementation. She continues to directly handle the areas of New Projects, HR & Administration, Corporate Communication & Corporate Affairs.

Suchitra Ella is passionate about organizing Blood Donation Camps, donating blood to the Red Cross, Thalassemia & Sickle Cell Society of AP. She is also a life member of the Red Cross. She has supported several free vaccination programs for deserving & needy children thru out India. She is a member of AIKYA, at the Indian School of Business, has been a founding member of the Hyderabad 10K Run Foundation.

She has been elected to the CII AP State Council from the year 2005-2006, 2007-08, 2008-09 & chairs the Panel on Corporate Social Responsibility. She has been nominated to serve on the Board of the School of Management Studies, University of Hyderabad, in addition to being an Advisory Committee Member to the SAARC Women Entrepreneurs Council.

Suchitra has been awarded the International Women Entrepreneurial Challenge 2007 by Chamber of Commerce Barcelona, FICCI Ladies Organization, Manhattan Chamber of Commerce and recently the FLO GR8 Women Achievers Award 2008 for Excellence as an Entrepreneur.

A synergy of her risk taking nature combined with her hands on approach to work, logical pursuit, attention to detail and organization building have been the guiding principles of her professional cum entrepreneurial career for more than two decades in the US & India.
